The most challenging job of the AMHS-BPA is raising funds to support the many activities and opportunities that present themselves to our students and the AMHS Band programs.

If the word “fundraiser” sends a shiver up your spine, you need to know that it’s not all car washes and cookie sales (but those still do quite well). There are many simple ways to bring funds into your band student’s account and the BPA general fund. With the planned trip to Disneyland this spring, it’s important to start now, rather than scramble later.

There are many fundraisers planned for this year, and others yet to be developed. Some of them involve simply getting credit for purchases you make every day, and some are more complicated and need the support of creative individuals. They all need the participation of students and parents who are committed to the success of the AMHS Band programs. That’s all of us!

Please come to the Fundraising Committee meeting on Monday, August 13 at 6:30pm (in the AMHS Choir room) to learn how you can help the AMHS-BPA generate funds to support our award-winning band students and programs.
