On this website, you will find the BPA and AMHS Bands activity calendar just below and to the right. At the WELCOME link above, you will find your way to the AMHS BAND HANDBOOK which contains much useful information (currently under revision for 2013-14).
Please register on our website to join not just our mailing lists, but our interactive messaging forum. The MEMBERS link above will take you there. Use your FIRST AND LAST name to register (not “BandMom96″ or other nicknames), and provide the name of your student. (Students, just indicate that you are a student and your instrument). Each member of the family that participates should have their own account (as opposed to a “the-joneses“), so everyone knows exactly with whom they are communicating. Registration info, names, etc. are not accessible to non-approved visitors or guests, who may only view the ANNOUNCEMENTS section. Once we have verified that you have an incoming student, we will activate your account and send a welcome email.
We are also connected to social media! The icons to the right will take you to our RSS, Facebook, Twitter and YouTube pages, where you can subscribe or follow and get information as soon as it is posted to the ANNOUNCEMENTS section. Our calendar is also compatible with most popular calendar programs, including Outlook, iCalendar and Google-calendar, allowing you to subscribe and keep synced at all times.

A limited number of these DVDs will be available at the BPA meeting on Wednesday, June 12 for $10 each.
All proceeds benefit the AMHS-BPA General Fund, which provides financial and logistics support to the AMHS Bands program, community outreach for support of music education and several scholarship awards to graduating AMHS musicians.

A reminder that TONIGHT is the annual Band Awards potluck. Due to a 60% chance of rain, the location will be the AMHS Commons, and the time 6:00pm.
Students drew for entree/dessert/etc. but if you did not select an item, please bring your family’s favorite dish/dessert to share, and drinks for your group. Plates and utensils will be provided.
IMPORTANT! The date for the final concert has been changed to TUESDAY, JUNE 4 at 7:00pm (musicians please arrive by 6:30pm).

Bring the family out to enjoy dinner at an Auburn icon on Thursday, March 28 between 5:00pm and 9:00pm. AMHS Band students will be working as servers and bussers that evening to raise money for the AMHS-BPA scholarship funds.

The Auction is presented by The Auburn Mountainview Booster Club and has been a great opportunity for us in past years to raise needed funds for our band activities.
You can help support this event with donations of money, auction items or services, and by purchasing tickets to join us at auction night. Please make an effort to reach out to businesses in your communities and networks for donations to help fund our band activities at Auburn Mountainview High School.

The tickets are on sale now; $35 per person or $350 for a table of 10. Its for a good cause, and a great way to spend the evening. Spread the word!

This edition includes individual and group photos of the band. Proceeds go to the AMHS Bands ASB fund, which helps pay for group contest fees.
$5.00 each, payable to the AMHS ASB office, then bring your receipt to Mr. Pyle to receive your guide.
Several AMHS musicians have been selected to participate in the 2013 Northwest High School Honor Bands at Pacific Lutheran University, an honor shared by only 250 students from all over Washington, Oregon and Idaho.
The concerts will be on Sunday, January 5 at 5:00pm (Concert Band) and 6:30pm (Symphonic Band) in the Lagerquist Concert Hall in the Mary Baker Russell Music Center at PLU. Admission is free of charge.
